We’re thrilled to support a powerful new initiative to map the Big Sioux River — a 420-mile waterway winding through the heart of eastern South Dakota.

With no existing in-river maps, it’s been a challenge to identify areas in need of restoration, protection, or public access. That’s about to change.

Through immersive 360° virtual mapping, this project will:
🔍 Reveal problem areas hidden from aerial view
🌱 Identify sections needing riparian buffer strips in agricultural regions
🏙️ Locate urban hotspots for streambank erosion and trash accumulation
🛶 Highlight canoe/kayak launch points
💧 Showcase water quality testing data

We’re proud to provide this mapping technology to help local leaders, scientists, and community members see the river in a new way — and take action.
