The 2019 National Geographic Explorers of the Year have ventured down the most remote rivers on the planet since 2015 in order to save the water sources that feed Botswana’s Okavango Delta, one of Earth’s last wild wetlands.
The science team collected 360° imagery at one minute intervals and observation data along hundreds of kilometers of the Okavango, Cubango and Cuando Rivers.
EarthViews took these datasets to create navigable RiverViews of the Wild Bird Trust journeys.
